Who Laser Hair Removal is for
Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle, so it gives the best results on dark hair. Very light blonde, grey or red hair responds poorly to laser; electrolysis is the better option for those hairs.
Hair grows in cycles, so a course of sessions is needed to treat every follicle in its growth phase.

Aftercare
Mild redness or warmth can last a few hours. Treated hairs shed over the following one to three weeks. Use sunscreen and skip hot tubs, saunas and intense workouts for a day.
Good to know: Avoid tanning, self-tanner and sun on the area for two weeks before and after. Tell Afsoon about any medication, especially ones that make skin sun-sensitive.

How many sessions will I need?
Most people need a course of several sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Your number depends on the area, your hair and your skin, and Afsoon will give you a plan at your first visit.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe a quick snap like an elastic band. The area is cooled during treatment.
Should I shave before?
Yes, shave the area the day before. Do not wax, pluck or thread for four weeks before, because the laser needs the hair root.
Do you treat men?
Yes. Full body laser hair removal is available for men, and other areas on request.
