Who Microblading is for
Microblading suits you if your brows are thin, patchy, over-plucked or uneven, and you want a soft, natural result rather than a bold, filled look. It works best on normal to dry skin. Very oily skin can blur strokes, so powder brows or a combination may be suggested instead.
Afsoon maps the shape to your bone structure and face first, so you approve the design before any pigment goes in.

Aftercare
Brows look darker and sharper for the first days, then soften and may look patchy while the skin heals over about 10 to 14 days. The final shade settles after healing, and the touch-up perfects any areas that faded. Keep brows dry and avoid makeup, sweating and sun on them while they heal.
Good to know before your brow appointment
These hand-drawn strokes are a form of semi-permanent makeup: fine lines of pigment sit in the upper layer of the skin to shape and fill the brows. Colour fades gradually over time, so most clients plan a refresh when the brows start to look softer. This hair-stroke style tends to suit normal to dry skin best, while very oily skin often holds a soft powder finish better, and a combination of both can work well too.
Avoid blood-thinning drinks and brow tinting in the days before your visit, and come with your usual brow makeup if you like it, so the new shape can follow it. How long does microblading last?
Usually 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type, sun exposure and aftercare. A colour refresh keeps it looking crisp.
Does microblading hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied first. Most clients describe light scratching or pressure.
Microblading or powder brows?
Microblading gives individual hair-like strokes and suits normal to dry skin. Powder brows give a soft shaded finish and last longer on oily skin. Afsoon will recommend the best fit at your consultation.
Who should not have microblading?
Tell Afsoon at booking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take blood thinners or Accutane, or have a skin condition on the brow area. Some situations need to wait or need your doctor’s advice first.
